Hearts is a straightforward game to learn, but it is difficult to master. Especially against the Coppercod AIs with their perfect memory. Keep track of your all time and session stats to watch your improvement over time!

A fast playing challenge for all Hearts fans! Are you ready to take on this fun and addictive game?Quickfire Rules
The aim of the game is to score fewer points than your opponents by evading Trick cards. After the deal, each player must pass three cards to one of their opponents.
Whoever is dealt the 2 of Clubs must play to start the game. Each player plays one card in turn, following suit where they can. The winner of the trick is the player who plays the highest card. If you cannot follow suit you may play a Trick card (Hearts and the Queen of Spades), except on the first hand, or play any other card in your hand. No player may lead with a Heart until the first Trick card is played - Hearts are Broken.
At the end of each hand, the Trick cards each player has collected are presented and totalled. The value of those Trick cards are added to each player’s total score.
The game is over when one player breaks the 100 point target. The winner is the player(s) who has the lowest score.

Shooting the moon: If a player wins all the trick cards in one round, they have 'shot the moon' and their opponents receive 26 points each instead of them.
Hearts FAQs
Can I play Hearts online free here?
Yes. Play in your browser for free or offline in the apps against smart AI. No account or sign-up required.
How does passing work in Hearts?
Before each hand you pass three cards: first left, then right, then across, then no pass; this cycle repeats. Passing helps shape your hand and avoid taking points.
What does 'Hearts are broken' mean?
You can’t lead Hearts until any Heart has been played to a trick. Once a Heart is played, Hearts are broken and may be led.
How does Shooting the Moon work?
If a player takes all Hearts plus the Q♠ in a hand, they ‘shoot the moon’. You can choose in Settings whether this adds 26 to opponents, removes 26 from your score, or conditionally applies the better outcome.
What is the Jack of Diamonds rule?
When enabled, capturing the J♦ deducts 10 points from your score for that hand. You can toggle this option in Settings.
What is Small Hearts?
A quicker variant using 28 cards (2-7 removed). It plays the same way as Classic Hearts, with adjusted scoring: Q♠ is 7 points and moon/J♦ bonuses are halved.
Does this work offline?
Yes. The apps work fully offline against AI, ideal for practice anywhere.
